Our insurance policies have been used successfully for visa applications by thousands of customers worldwide.

We provide written confirmation that the health insurance meets the visa requirements (stamped and signed). You will receive these documents immediately after sign up.

We hereby confirm the coverage fulfills the requirements to receive a visa/residence permit for France. Specifically:

  1. Insurance provider operates in France

  2. Full coverage for inpatient and outpatient treatments for any accident, illness or new condition (emergencies, consultations and diagnostic tests due to new symptoms, surgeries, hospitalizations, etc)

  3. Uncapped medical coverage (minimum coverage of 30,000 euros guaranteed)

  4. No annual deductible

  5. No waiting period*

  6. Insurance certificate stating that the policy is valid for one year renewable

  7. Repatriation of remains

The terms and conditions of the insurance apply and prevail

* With Expat Health, there is no waiting period as long as your Expat policy starts within 31 days of your arrival in France or as long as you had a previous better or equivalent coverage up until the start of your new policy.

Even in the case of a waiting period, your policy is active from the first day and will cover life-threatening emergencies.

You can read more information about the waiting period here.

Your visa-compliance insurance certificate will be available in your account in both French and English immediately after sign-up.
